The Orchestras
Established in 2001 as the Jan Modelski Community Orchestra, the ensemble was set up to give as many musicians as possible the opportunity to play - regardless of age, ability or instrument. Due to its immense popularity, one ensemble quickly became three, and today CCO offers a unique opportunity for players to progress through from Introductory level to Concert Orchestra - all under one roof.
Despite the orchestra's recent name change to better reflect the community they serve, they continue under the directorship of Jan Modelski and welcome new players of all standards at any time. No audition necessary.
INTRODUCTORY

Just started to learn? Never played in an orchestra? A little nervous? This is the perfect place for you to start your orchestral journey, with great opportunities to progress - in your own time.
INTERMEDIATE
0915-1100
Approx. Grade 2-4
For those with a little more experience, past or present: a great opportunity to resurrect past skills or develop those recently learnt, whilst enjoying a wide range of orchestral repertoire.
MAIN
1130 - 1330
Approx. Grade 5 and above
An opportunity to play a varied and challenging repertoire in a professional yet relaxed atmosphere, working towards two or more concerts per year.
